If you’ve asked me about my reading schedule exactly 2 years back, I’d barely tell which book I’ve last read! I was away from the amazing world of reading since I’ve started using Facebook in late 2007 and O boy! what a waste of time I did. In 2017 after been in the social media prison for 10 long years, the inner me cried out to unleash the reading habit I possessed! Bring it back Aminur you #%$^#$&$, bring it back.

The latest one is not uploaded yet! Don’t get me wrong.

Here is the timeline till then, 17 books in 2017, targeted 35 books in 2018 and ended up with 38! In 2019 the target is set to 40 and by 17th September 2019 already done with 29! Call me hungry, call be a bookworm but the feel of reading brought my inner youth back and freshen up my mind like anything. Is it a Drug? Well it may be and I’m loving it.

Let me come through one by one! The One Minute Manager was a compulsory read for me as I’m always working on the effeciancy mode of myself and the team I work with. It’s an important read to accommodate my working style with the expert opinion. A thorough read I’ve completed in the shortest possible time.

The success story of Zuckerberg and Greatest Lessons of Elon Musk were two small reads but filled with the inspiration I’m always searching for. It’s not easy to pursue for greatness but to be remembered a castle is built brick by brick and every small step is important. I’d rate these two books a must read for the outperformers.

Independance Day : Novelisation was a light read as I didn’t watch the movie, I picked up the book and went through it. To be honest I didn't like the book but yet reading never bankrupts you and better eye soothing than scrolling so let’s give it a go.

The story of Apple is sort of a pre-requisite read for me as I’m going through the infamous JOBS by Walter Isaacson a large read with a goal to complete it by this month. Always been a fan of apple since the iPod Days and owning a ton set of Apple Gears till date, Always fascinated with the story of Apple.

Brian Tracy’s Kiss That Frog is what I can call a masterpiece. I regret myself that why I didn't came up with these amazing set of books earlier but better late than never, already on another book of Brian in my today’s reading list. So refreshing!

The final straw of the reading week was with Snapshot by Brandon Sanderson. Always an avid lover of Dystopian Future, this detective sci fi rocked me from start till end and what a Climax! Superb read. Highly recommended to everyone.

So how is your reading going on? Would love to hear from you!

Till then, Ciao!
